Dr. Michael Viveiros received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Manchester (UK) in 2014, Master of Science in Psychology from Eastern Washington University in 2020, and Doctor of Psychology from Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology in 2025. Dr. Viveiros focuses on providing psychological assessment services to children and adults who are seeking answers about the possibility of diagnoses like Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Specific Learning Disorders, cognitive abilities, and other mental health issues. He also provides therapy on a limited basis to older adolescents and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and similar issues. He has previous experience treating individuals in community mental health centers, private practice, college counseling sites, and integrated primary care clinics.
Dr Viveiros focuses on providing caring and thoughtful treatment to those he works with. He supports a therapeutic assessment approach in which the primary focus of the assessment is not only to get the diagnosis, but also to help the client understand themselves better and to feel as though the psychological assessment process was a positive experience and a step toward recovery. His approach in therapy is based on a background of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Person-Centered Therapy with the goal of helping clients understand themselves and the systems around them that impact their functioning.
